Welcome from Museum Bookstore!

A very warm welcome from the newly-launched Museum Bookstore - an online store specialising in beautiful and inspiring exhibition and museum books from across the globe.

After years of struggling back with heavy exhibition catalogues from bookshops and scrolling through soulless websites trying to find books from past exhibitions, I decided to set up Museum Bookstore.  I want to create somewhere that combines the flexibility of the internet, the convenience of home delivery with the warmth, character and personal service of a specialist bookstore.

In setting up the business, we have spent months reviewing books from museums and creating a tight edit of the catalogues and books that have impressed, inspired and surprised us most. Alongside catalogues from world-famous museums such as the Metropolitan Museum of Art, National Gallery and Louvre, we have also included books from smaller and lesser-known museums like the Museum of International Folk Art and Fondation Beyeler.  I hope that you enjoy browsing and shopping our books as much as we have enjoyed handpicking them. We will be adding new books as we discover them, and letting you know about our new additions on twitter, on facebook and in our newsletter.

We will publish news, reviews and behind the scenes information on your favourite exhibitions and museums on this blog, as well as information on new products and sales. Do keep an eye out for future blogs and please do get in touch to let us know your thoughts on the new site.

With best regards,

Caroline Keppel-Palmer
