We are today launching a new initiative to give your exhibition catalogues a second lease of life. You can exchange your beloved art books and exhibition catalogues for credit which you can use to fund future purchases on Museum Bookstore.
Here's how it works
1. Email photos of the book you want to sell together with the title, the author and any comments about the book's condition to firstname.lastname@example.org
2. Within three working days, we’ll tell you how much credit you could earn. If you are happy to go ahead with that you send the book to our offices.
3. You get credit in just two business days once your book has been received and checked at our offices.
We give you credit as soon as your book has been verified so you can fund your next purchase faster.
Get something new
You can use your credit to buy new books on Museum Bookstore.
The price we give you is the value of the credit you will get. There are no hidden fees or nasty surprises.
Currently, we are only operating this within the UK but are looking to roll it out to other countries shortly.
What we accept
We accept books in As New, Fine or very good condition only.
As New: The book is in the same immaculate condition as when it was published. This could be the description for a book that has been lost in a warehouse for years, never shelved, thumbed or even opened yet may still be some years old.
Fine: A Fine book approaches the condition of As New, but without being crisp. The book may have been opened and read, but there are no defects to the book, jacket or pages.
Very Good: Describes a book that shows some small signs of wear - but no tears - on either binding or paper
