Win a copy of Henry Moore's Sheep Sketchbook

Closing date 16 August 2019

The brilliant artist and sculptor, Henry Moore was born on 30 July 1898. To mark his birthday, we have a copy of Henry Moore's Sheep Sketchbook to give away.

About the prize

In 1972, when the packing and crating for a major exhibition made it impossible for him to work in his sculpture studios, the sculptor, Henry Moore retreated to a small studio that looks out on a sheep meadow. Over the course of several months, as sheep were suckled and sheared, Moore produced a collection of delicate sheep sketches made from swirling and zigzagging lines in biro.

Accurately reproducing the pages of Moore's 1972 sketchbook, this gem of a book  gives a glimpse into the private inspirations of one of the giants of 20th-century British art.

A great resource for artists and art students and a thoroughly charming addition to your art library.
