100 Years of Swiss Design
100 Years of Swiss Design, the companion book to an exhibition at the Museum Für Gestaltung, Zurich in 2015 presents an overview of furniture and product design in Switzerland. The exhibition was the first comprehensive show of Swiss design and included everyday objects as well as iconic pieces of furniture by Le Corbusier, Max Bill, Hans Bellmann and Willy Guhl.
With 700 illustrations, the book explores 100 key works from Designsammlung which has the world's largest collection of Swiss design, through sketches, prototypes, models, advertising films and photographs.
This beautifully designed and printed book includes thirty essays by designers and critics describing themes that emerged during their careers.
