Made in Denmark : Design Since 1900
This handsome book which accompanies an exhibition at Grassi Museum of Applied Arts looks at Danish design. With hundreds of illustrations, the book covers works by designers including Kaare Klint, Arne Jacobsen and Verner Panton and explores how Danish design inspired the product and home decor culture of whole generations.
The book also explores how Skønvirke, the Danish expression of Art Nouveau laid the groundwork for modern Danish design and looks at works by representatives of this style including Thorvald Bindesbøll and Johan Rohde.
