This beautifully illustrated book about the Cornwall's Museum of Witchcraft and Magic is definitely a treat. With crisp photos of 100 artefacts from the museum including wax dolls, wands, statues, daggers, pendants, robes and amulets, the book sheds light on many fascinating aspects of folklore and tradition. 

Accompanying the photographs are informative texts from Sara Hannant and Museum director Simon Costin, as well as an illuminating introduction by the leading historian of British witchcraft and magic, Ronald Hutton.

The book is something to dip into again and again (preferably after dark).
