A beautiful book and craft pack of origami models

Published to coincide with the British Museum's exhibition, Hokusai: Beyond the Great Wave, the book includes instructions for 13 origami models and 50 sheets of paper with which to construct them. Each of the origami models is displayed alongside a related painting from the British Museum's collection, including works by Hokusai and other Japanese artists.  The book offers a Japanese name for each object, written in English and Japanese script, and a haiku poem, introducing children and adults to different elements of Japanese culture.

At the back of the book, readers will find a comprehensive index of all the artworks and haikus featured, plus hints and tips on the origami techniques, as well as a QR code linking to a series of how-to videos featuring demonstrations from an origami expert.
